Eloise CASH

Caymanian Accounts for Savings & Homeownership: an individual wealth-building account, opened with a CI$1,000 investment at birth.

Eloise CASH Accounts are opened for Caymanian children born on or after 1 January 2026 whose parents apply within 12 months of birth.

Built on a simple belief: when effort is backed by capital, opportunity becomes ownership.

In Honour Of

The story behind the name

Named in honour of Ms Eloise Seymour, a Caymanian taxi driver for 45 years who saved every penny she could and believed hard work should open doors to opportunity. When capital was scarce, she pledged her home and her savings to unlock opportunity for her son. The CASH programme carries that same principle forward for the next generation of Caymanians.

How CASH Works

From a first deposit to a lasting balance sheet

  1. 01

    CI$1,000

An opening investment for each child enrolled in the programme.

  2. 02

    Anyone can contribute

Families, employers and private donors may add to an account at any time, subject to the Foundation's Donation Acceptance Policy.

  3. 03

    Invested to grow

Funds are invested in a low-fee index strategy anchored on the S&P 500, with risk reduction approaching adulthood. The Fund is managed by the Foundation under a written investment policy approved by the board.

  4. 04

    Ages 18–24 purposeful use

Capital can be used for education, business startups, or a deposit on home ownership. The Foundation approves qualifying uses before age 25.

  5. 05

    Age 25+ full access

The account holder gains unrestricted access to use their capital however they choose. If no qualifying use is made by 25, the full balance is released to the account holder.

Account values rise and fall with markets; the Foundation reports each account's balance to the family annually.

Why This Works

Two forces, working together

Compounding

Compounding over 18 years turns small, consistent contributions into meaningful capital. Time is the most powerful financial tool.

Direct Impact

Every account is a named child's. The Foundation reports the number of accounts opened, total seeded and total contributed, each year, in its published accounts.

Not a handout, a foundation

Building Caymanian balance sheets, for a generation

CASH is a simple, transparent system to build wealth over time… starting with every child, and compounding for a generation.
